Doris (Scheller) Kechersen (1918-2015) took these photos on a historic snowy day here in Burbank. She penned on the back of the photo "Noel mid the cactus! Doesn't look as if he likes his picture taken so early in the a.m. Jan. 10, 1949 Burbank, Calif." Images were donated by her nephew and next of kin, Bill Scheller, and mailed to us all the way from Vermont where I'm sure they are not fazed by actual snow like us Burbankers!
