From City Council Minutes: Bring your blankets and lawn chairs to the grand re-opening of Johnny Carson Park on Thursday July 21st from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This Free Concert in the Park will feature The Platinum Groove, Kid Zone, Snack Shack, Face Painting and Giveaways will be available. The renovation project was partially funded by the Bureau of Reclamation, Land Water and Conservation Fund, and the State of California Natural Resource Agency (Prop 84) River Parkways.
