Under the Sister City program, a group of Burbankers went to Ota, Japan to experience the culture and strengthen bonds with Burbank's Sister City. The delegates eat sushi. From the back end of the bar to the front: Merle and Jim Woodburn, ?, Shirley and Curt Reynolds, Dick Messer and his daughter, and an unidentified man. The images were taken in May 1988. This image came from a collection of images donated by Shirley Reynolds. She was on the board of the Sister Cities program for many years.
