Under the Sister City program, a group of Burbankers visited Ota, Japan to experience the culture and strengthen bonds with Burbank's Sister City. Shirley Reynolds and Merle Woodburn stand in the back center surrounded by local Japanese students and three unidentified female representatives. The images were taken in May 1988. This image came from a collection of images donated by Shirley Reynolds. She was on the board of the Sister Cities program for many years.
