Description

First National Pictures built a movie lot in Burbank in 1926 and was acquired by Warner Bros. in 1928. For tax reasons, the companies functioned as distinct entities until 1936, according to the book, Early Warner Bros. Studios. This photo is labeled "First National Studio March 1930" and has the men's names written on the back of the photo, though the names are quite difficult to read. "HR King, JL Norwood, Lou [unreadable], Strohm, Thos. F. Hamilton, Jim [unreadable], L.S. [unreadable]."--back of photo
