Under the Sister City program, a group of Burbankers went to Ota, Japan to experience the culture and strengthen bonds with Burbank's Sister City. The images were taken in October 1984. Shirley and Curtis Reynolds (second and third from left) and Sue and Larry Stamper (seventh and eighth from left) pose with a group of unidentified individuals. This image came from a collection of images donated by Shirley Reynolds. She was on the board of the Sister Cities program for many years.
