From notes on photo: “Ted McConkey 1995-1999." Theodore Stein McConkey was born October 1, 1929 in Pennsylvania and died on December 23, 2006 in Burbank, California. He was known for his outspoken and often oppositional views. "He co-authored Measure A to limit expansion of Bob Hope Airport and make it mandatory for the city to receive a two-thirds majority vote from residents on future terminal expansions." His obituary can be found in the January 3, 2007 Burbank Leader.
