From a February 28, 1985 L.A. Times article: "A fire that apparently began in a deep-fat fryer gutted a Burbank delicatessen Wednesday and spread to two neighboring businesses, causing an estimated $522,000 in damage. The fire broke out in the kitchen of Victor’s Delicatessen and Restaurant at the corner of West Magnolia Boulevard and Hollywood Way, Capt. Bill Sanders of the Burbank Fire Department said. It spread to stores on either side of the restaurant after being drawn through an air vent into a common attic, he added."
