From City Council Meeting Minutes: "It was moved by Council Member Jess Talamantes, seconded by Council Member Bob Frutos, and unanimously carried 5-0, to appoint Vice-Mayor Sharon Springer to serve as Mayor. It was moved by Council Member Emily Gabel-Luddy, seconded by Council Member Jess Talamantes, and unanimously carried 5-0, to appoint Council Member Bob Frutos as Vice-Mayor."
