From City Council Meeting Minutes: Fire Chief Mike Davis described the criteria for the selection of the Fire Fighter of the Year and introduced the 2003 award recipient, Captain Craig Canfield, a 30-year veteran of the Fire Department. Mayor Stacey Murphy presented Captain Canfield with a plaque commemorating his selection as the 2003 Burbank Fire Department Fire Fighter of the Year, as well as a Certificate of Recognition. Next, Chief Davis introduced the 2004 Fire Fighter of the Year, Eric Clements. Mayor Murphy presented a plaque and Certificate of Recognition to Fire Fighter Clements.
