From City Council Meeting Minutes: Mayor Golonski invited Gay Maund, Senior Board Chair, to present the 2008 Outstanding Volunteers. The following volunteers received Mayor's Commendations in recognition of receiving the Older American Volunteer Services Award: Bob Alborzian; Marion D'Errico; Leslie Joseph Dunn; Paul Frantz; Joan Rinard; and, Bethel Trammell. Also, William Harrold was awarded the 2008 Los Angeles County Outstanding Older American Award.
