Under the Sister City program, a group of Burbankers went to Ota, Japan to experience the culture and strengthen bonds with Burbank's Sister City. The images were taken in October 1984. Posing from left to right: Bob Heins, Gary and Joyce Petterson, Bob and Dianne Bowne, Larry and Sue Stamper, Sydney Heins, and Shirley and Curt Reynolds. This image came from a collection of images donated by Shirley Reynolds. She was on the board of the Sister Cities program for many years.
