1984 - Burbank Delegates at Sister City Ota, Japan
1984
Under the Sister City program, a group of Burbankers went to Ota, Japan to experience the culture and strengthen bonds with Burbank's Sister City. Former Burbank Mayor Larry Stamper holds a chrysanthemum, a flower that is a national symbol of Japan. The images were taken in October 1984. This image came from a collection of images donated by Shirley Reynolds. She was on the board of the Sister Cities program for many years.
