Under the Sister City program, a group of Burbankers went to Ota, Japan to experience the culture and strengthen bonds with Burbank's Sister City. From left tor right: Bob and Sydney Heins, Shirley and Curt Reynolds, and Joyce and Gary Petterson. The images were taken in May 1988. This image came from a collection of images donated by Shirley Reynolds. She was on the board of the Sister Cities program for many years.
