Doris (Scheller) Kechersen (1918-2015) took these photos on a historic snowy day here in Burbank. She penned on the back of the photo "Taken in the yard of our court. The great surprise to the Southland! Jan. 10, 1949 Burbank, Calif." Images were donated by her nephew and next of kin, Bill Scheller, and mailed to us all the way from Vermont where I'm sure they are not fazed by actual snow like us Burbankers!
