Under the Sister City program, a group of Burbankers went to Ota, Japan to experience the culture and strengthen bonds with Burbank's Sister City. The images were taken in October 1984. Dianne Bowne and Mary Lou Howard learned kyudo, the Japanese martial art of archery. This image came from a collection of images donated by Shirley Reynolds.
